Contest 42CS

Drop by the dock at the end of any ocean-crossing rally and you're likely to find a Contest in the fleet. For a half-century, this yard in the Netherlands has been building bluewater cruisers; its newest, the 42CS, is just a little sleeker than its center-cockpit siblings. The Contest 42 is part of Cruising World's 2014 New Boat Showcase.
