Bahamas Cat Charters is a family-run flotilla operation offering individual and tandem trips through the islands. Based out of George Town, Great Exuma Island, the company offers itineraries throughout the Exuma Cays and the islands and cays commonly known as the Out Islands.
Parents Tina and Peter Dreffin crew Freebird, a 42-foot Grainger catamaran that can take five guests in two cabins and one child-size berth. Sons and captains Adam and Warren Dreffin and their crews run Rubicon, a St. Francis 44-foot catamaran, and Swish, a 50-foot Voyage catamaran, respectively. Rubicon accommodates five guests in three cabins; Swish takes seven guests in four cabins. The Dreffin family formerly lived together on Scud, the 44-foot St. Francis catamaran they circumnavigated aboard over a decade ago.
