Boat of the Year 2020 Entry

Welcome to Cruising World’s 2020 Boat of the Year!

The editors of Cruising World are calling for entries for their 2020 Boat of the Year awards. If you’re launching a new sailboat model into the North American market, we invite you to join the industry’s most respected testing and awards program. Boat inspections and sea trials, conducted by an independent team of industry experts, will take place in October 2019 during and immediately following the United States Sailboat Show in Annapolis, Maryland.

If you have a new model that won’t be on display in Annapolis but will debut in North America, we still would like to know about it for our New Boat Showcase article, which will be featured in the October issue of Cruising World.

To submit your Boat of the Year entry: Kindly download copies of the entry materials, complete them and then scan them as PDFs and return them by email to boatoftheyear@gmail.com. In the entry form, we ask you about your boat. This includes the boat’s dimensions in imperial units (feet, inches, pounds), as well as detailed information about systems and components. We also ask for supporting documents (e.g., design drawings and photos).
