Noticing a demand for lower-priced inflatables, marine retailer Defender has launched its own brand of tenders. The Defender RIBs for the recreational market are available in two sizes, 8’6″ (RIB265) and 9’10” (RIB300). Both models are available in either PVC or CSM-Hypalon fabric with prices ranging from $1,295 to $1,955.
The Defender recreational RIBs have a Rigid RTM fiberglass hull with molded nonskid deck and a pronounced deep V with enhanced interior depth that provide for a drier ride, better tracking, and comfortable performance while maximizing interior space for you and all your gear. An added benefit to the hull construction is a keel protector that has been installed on both the RIB265 and RIB300 to guard against keel damage during an accidental grounding or when beaching the craft.
