After a 13-year run that saw more than 300 boats launched, Hallberg-Rassy replaced its popular 342 with the Germán Frers-designed HR 340. With design elements borrowed from its larger 44-foot sibling, the 340 has a slightly overlapping headsail (self-tacking’s an option), twin rudders and either a tiller or dual wheels.
