Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding, the state of the art shipbuilding company based in Thomaston, Maine has purchased Wayfarer Marine, a boatyard in Camden, Maine.
Lyman- Morse plans to combine the infrastructure, expertise, and traditional community values that both boat yards encompass. Lyman-Morse feels that Wayfarer marine has strengths that will make the company stronger and a better asset for employees, midcoast Maine, and the marine community as a whole.
With a new boatyard and a new location, Lyman-Morse hopes to expand its reach, and continue to serve New England.
To celebrate the purchase of Wayfarer Marine by Lyman Morse Boatbuilding, the company has invited the public for snacks and live music on Thursday, July 9th 4-7 pm on the docks at Lyman-Morse at Wayfarer in Camden.
