As sailors we are conscious of our environment and want to do what we can to keep it as pristine as possible. We notice when someone on another boat pumps out an oily bilge or spills fuel into the sea. And we view them (quite rightly) with no little disapproval. Consequently it behooves us to take every precaution to avoid discharging pollutants from our own boats.
That’s where the Andax Marine Pac comes in. It’s essentially a personal oil spill cleanup kit with the capacity to deal with a 10-gallon spill. The kit comes in a vacuum-packed foil bag for ease of stowage and contains three four-foot long floating absorbent cylinders that can be tied together to contain the spill and 20 absorbent pads to soak up the oil within. A disposal bag and Nitrile gloves are also included.
