Newport for New Products Winners

Nine companies take home honors from the Newport for New Products annual contest at the Newport International Boat Show and the Edson Five-Star Awards for boat show displays.

Newport for New Products awards are presented annually by the Newport International Boat Show in conjunction with Cruising World, Sailing World and Yachting magazines. Winners are picked by a panel of judges who review each new sail and power boat, along with all new products on display at the show. This year’s contest included 21 power boats, 10 sailboats and 18 new products. In addition Edson, for the 21st year, hosted honors for the best boat show booths.

The Eagle 44 took double honors in the 2013 Newport for New Products contest, held during the Newport International Boat Show. This sleek day sailer was named Best New Sailboat over all, and Best New Sailboat 30 Feet and Over. Mark Pillsbury
