Join us at the 2017 Sail America Industry Conference presented by B&G, scheduled for Wednesday through Friday May 31-June 2 at the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown Hotel. Wednesday afternoon there is a chance for friendly competition in Ensigns at the Industry Regatta hosted by Milwaukee Community Sailing Center and sponsored by West Marine. Speakers start at 8:30 am on Thursday, including a keynote from Harley Davidson, trends within US boating from Thom Dammrich at NMMA, and a presentation on results from a custom study from Bonnier Corp. on sailing demographics and psychographics. After lunch small groups will meet for conversations on topics ranging from sales and marketing to tax, tariff and import reform, to women in boating, followed by Marcus Sheridan “The Sales Lion” who will talk to attendees about Letting Go of the Way It Has Always Been Done. Thursday evening features the Industry Dinner, a chance to network and celebrate with members of the sailing industry. And on Friday the learning and networking opportunities continue until 12:15.
Registration is $395 for Sail America Members/YBAA and CPYB Members, and $495 for others, with discounts for companies registering 4 or more employees. A limited number of sponsorships are still available, The SAIC hotel block rate of $165 is available until May 3.
