An even bigger, bolder statement than the 525, the Oyster 625 builds on the theme of having two principal staterooms, one palatial and the other of merely mansion proportions, but the boat’s extra volume permits a variety of ways to accommodate additional crew, paid or otherwise.
Rob Humphreys is the named designer, working alongside Oyster’s experienced team, and between them they’ve put together yet another svelte example of the semi-raised saloon style that Oyster has made its own.
At about 40 tons, its a lot of boat to move around, and the sailplan is proportionately generous, as is the equipment provided to operate it. In its standard configuration, it’s cutter rigged.
