It’s always interesting to visit another vessel that’s identical to yours. In this case, we came across another Wauquiez Amphitrite 43 in Dutch Sint Maarten. I immediately finagled my way aboard the familiar little fat vessel and ingratiated myself with its delightful owner, a sailor hustling cyber devices to passing cruisers.
French yacht builder Wauquiez reprises its Centurion line with a Berret Racoupeau-designed 57-footer. With swept-back spreaders on a tall rig, wedge-shaped cabin house, twin wheels and ultra-modern interior, the sailboat crosses the pond infused with Euro styling. The Centurion 57 is part of Cruising World‘s 2014 New Boat Showcase.
